iHomeData (ihomedata.com) is run by MJI Technology. This page explains what we collect when you use iHomeData, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect from you
- Account details: your email address, an optional name, and your password. We store only a salted hash of your password, never the password itself. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name and email address with us.
- What you save in the app: saved properties, saved searches, notes, follow-up tasks and the county you pick.
- Billing records: your plan, credit balance, and the customer and subscription IDs from Stripe. Stripe collects and stores your card details. We never see or store your card number.
- Technical records: our server logs requests (such as the page, time and IP address) to keep the service running and to stop abuse. Your browser stores your sign-in token and some screen settings on your own device.
Property and owner records
The property data in iHomeData comes from public records: the Florida Department of Revenue tax roll and county clerk court filings. Owner names and mailing addresses in those records are public. Accounts without a paid plan see owner names shortened to a first name and last initial. If you own a property and have a question about how your information appears, or your address is exempt from public disclosure under Florida law, email ihomedata@ouremails.org.
How we use your information
- To run your account, show your saved work, and track your credits.
- To bill your subscription through Stripe.
- To send account emails, such as email confirmation and password reset links. We do not send marketing emails unless you ask for them.
- To fix problems and protect the service.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use advertising trackers or analytics services on this site.
Services we share data with
- Stripe processes payments.
- Google (Firebase) handles "Sign in with Google" if you choose it. Our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts.
- OpenAI or Google Gemini receive the property details and question when you use an AI deal estimate. We do not send your account details.
- Owner phone and email lookup (Pro plan, when it is available) sends the owner name and property address you choose to our lookup provider.
- Our hosting and email providers store the database and send account emails.
We may also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information while your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account and saved work within 30 days. We keep billing records as long as tax law requires.
Your choices
- Email ihomedata@ouremails.org to get a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account.
- Cancel your plan anytime under Manage billing in the app.
Children
iHomeData is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. For a big change, we will email account holders.
